Please verify your CCSVI testing facility
This is a thread of interest to people like me who are concerned about the possibility that there are some clinics advertising CCSVI testing services conducted by technicians who don't know what they are doing: http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-15717.html. It make me shudder to think that some MSers are being given wrong diagnoses because of technicians who are not knowledgeable. But the question is, who is "certifying" sonographers with respect to CCSVI?

Dr, Zamboni mentioned that he wanted us to be part of a study which I am. I went to Frankfurt Germany and was treated by Dr. Vogl at the Goethe University Clinic and he is a wonderful, world- renowned professor of radiology and director of Diagnostics at the University Hospital. I am restenosing but I think many people are going through this; I do not think this can be helped at the moment. I hate feeling the MS again and I am thankful for the 3 mos. without any symptoms.
ReplyDeleteDagmar, I hope you can be liberated again soon, and begin to get on track with your recovery. I am lucky (so far) that my stent is keeping my faulty valve open in my left jugular, and that my right jugular (as of last September) is staying open. I hope that the next treatment works for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ted, Germany will not use stents so I might just close up again, however, I just want to continue on with the Study at the moment. I am glad the stent works for you. In the future, a stent may be the way I have to go too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Dagmar. Some people seem to maintain blood flow without stents, and I hope that's how it works for you.
